Country trail 4 – Sylvest’s sculpture
The rack is a component from one of the legs of a drilling platform that was discarded because it did not satisfy tolerance/dimensional requirements.
Jens Sylvest bought it as scrap because he thought it was interesting and worth looking at, so he gave it a new life. It has been erected on the foundations of a high voltage electricity pylon.
The high voltage cables that used to traverse the landscape were buried underground in 2017.
