Country trail 8.3 – The grazing association
Black Welsh cattle can graze outdoors for most of the year. They are a tough yet calm breed. They were originally used as dairy cattle and as a natural way of maintaining fields. The grazing association is a co-operative and serves to maintain fields in a natural manner through grazing on land provided by landowners.
The grazing association produces meat that is based on the principles of environmentalism and animal welfare, for distribution among its members. If you are interested in becoming involved, please contact the Jordløse Residents’ Association committee.
